Home of driver, Jake "Woody" Zelinske
In 2010, Jake Zelinske and Zelinske Motorsports competed weekly in the Limited Late Model division of the Fox River Racing Club. The team's main goals of the season were to make it to the track evey week, improve qualifying times and get as much seat time for the driver as possible. Fortunately, all of these goals were accomplished. Although an 18th place finish in points for the season was a little disappointing, the team and driver learned a lot about car setups and the best way to get around the race track.
2011 will have some small changes in the pit crew. Nate Normand will be joining the team weekly at the track. Nate was previously an engineer with Roush Racing. We are also glad to be welcoming back Brandon Reichenberger. Brandon does a great job spotting for Jake. Also some new and improved equipment is being added to the race car for the 2011 season.
Zelinske Motorsports will again be racing weekly in the Fox River Racing Club on Thursday evenings at WIR. The team will also be competing in special events at Marshfield and possibly Madison.
We are also looking forward to adding some new sponsors to the team. Announcements regarding sponsors will be made in the near future.
